What We Believe

We Believe....                                                                                           

1. That the Holy Scriptures are the true, inspired and authoritative Word of God.

2. That God is a Triune God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

3. That humans are born sinful and in need of God's forgiveness, love, and grace.

4. That our sins are forgiven through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

5. That God's Word, Holy Baptism, and the Lord's Supper are ways that God brings his forgiveness and grace into our lives.

6. That eternal life is a free gift from God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

7. That Jesus Christ will one day return as victorious Lord of all.

We believe that eternal salvation is given to all those who believe through the grace of God...it is not "earned" by anything we do.  We love and serve others as a response to God's love for us.

We believe that everything we have...our time, our talents, and our treasures are gifts from God.  It is our responsibility to use these gifts to His glory.....so we care for His earth, we care for each other, and we return a portion of what He has given to us in support of His work.
