Our Women's Guild is a service group which usually meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month from September through May, however during the pandemic period we will be doing projects at home or in very small groups which we will call "circles". All women of the congregation are welcome! Guest speakers, mission projects, fund raisers, mystery trips, meals, care of the congregation and church, and fellowship are just a few of the many areas we look forward to returning to in the future. We are also active in the LWML and Women's Auxiliary to the Federation of Cincinnati Lutheran churches of Cincinnati and Vicinity.

Women's Guild Circle Activities for 2020
Baby Bundles - This is our way of welcoming new babies and supporting young parents...both members and former members of the congregation. Each Baby Bundle includes some useful infant care supplies as well as a lovingly made baby blanket. If you'd like to help with this project, contact Lois Werner. We especially appreciate "blanket makers"!
Knitting and Crocheting group - Although we'd much prefer to meet together and socialize as we knit or crochet, this year we are supplying yarn and materials for working at home. We regularly make prayer shawls for people who are ill or need some extra support, prayer squares to remind us to pray, and infant hats for newborns. Contact Patty Resendes if you'd like to get involved!
Sewing for Others - We've been busy this year making masks for anyone who needs them and blankets for the Baby Bundles. Whatever your sewing skills or interests, we can use them! If you'd like to get involved, give Debb Cropp a call.
Reaching Out with Cards - Even when we can't see each other in person, we make sure that we reach out with holiday greeting cards to our college students and shut-ins, members who are ill or grieving, and celebrating birthdays (especially those special birthdays after the 80-year mark!) We also share Easter and Christmas greetings on behalf of the women and the entire congregation. As a special project, we sign and send 150 Christmas cards to be delivered at the Veterans Hospital. If you'd like to help with any of these efforts, including helping to sign the cards for Veterans, contact Lois Werner.
Part of Something Bigger - Our women's guild is actively involved in the city-wide auxiliary of the Federation of Lutheran Churches and participates in joint projects and events. Our key contact with the auxiliary is Lisa Schock.
We are also engaged with the state and national LWML (Lutheran Women's Missionary League) and support significant mission projects both at home and abroad. For more information contact Peggy Kelm or Barb Berner.
Prayer Warriors - We organize an active "prayer chain" via email to share prayer requests among our members. We believe in the power of prayer. To join this group, contact Kathy Meinking.
